The collection of short stories brings together the discomforts of terror, horror (yes, they are different things) and science fiction and places them in the setting of Araucária-PR, the author's city. The stories mix memories and situations experienced by Finkler and imaginative inventions with which what was real, what is fictional, and what is the nebulous middle ground become one. In this collection, the reader will go through several themes, especially the place of Being in the face of a mysterious and, by definition, frightening world. The reflections and debates of the characters, often philosophical, existentialist, and even theological, develop another layer of understanding of the reality that surrounds them, with the desired objective of making the familiar strange and familiarizing the strange.
